Vietnam tet gift (UI Concept)
Description:
This concept app is designed to make gifting for Vietnam’s Tết Festival easier and more culturally meaningful. The UI showcases a curated selection of gift items rooted in Vietnamese traditions. My role was to enhance the experience through micro-interactions and culturally inspired animations — bringing attention to details like product highlights, interactions with traditional motifs, and smooth, festive transitions. The animations aimed to create a warm, culturally rich environment that made the gifting journey intuitive and delightful.

Brief
The brief was to animate the experience in a way that celebrates the spirit of Tết — Vietnam’s Lunar New Year. The app already had a rich visual design filled with traditional elements, and I was asked to use motion to enhance that without overwhelming it. I created micro-interactions that referenced Vietnamese culture — like blossoming flowers, red envelopes, and gentle gold accents — to guide the user through the gifting process. The goal was to make the interface feel festive, respectful, and easy to navigate.
