Description:
This concept app is designed to transform digital reading into an immersive, story-driven experience. The UI adapts dynamically based on the genre or mood of the book being read — creating an emotional bridge between reader and story. My role was to design micro-interactions that felt magical and intuitive, making users feel like they’re stepping into the story rather than just reading it. Through subtle glows, page transitions, ambient effects, and responsive elements, the animation aimed to enrich the storytelling experience and heighten user engagement.

Brief
The brief was to animate the UI in a way that made reading feel magical and immersive — like the user is living the story, not just reading it. The design adapted its visuals based on the book, so I had to craft micro-interactions that matched that adaptive storytelling. Every animation — whether a page flip, hover, or button tap — needed to feel alive and emotionally in sync with the narrative. It wasn’t about flashy visuals, but subtle motion that enchanted and drew the user deeper into the reading journey.
